Hi this is Lissa Marie, here to do my first post for “Just Jaimee“! How exciting! I thought, “Oh what to do, what to do, as I had many things come to mind, at the last-minute I decided to go with this journal book for my project life, organization. Perfect timing at the beginning of the year!
I found a page template on Pinterest from last year, but I don’t know the blog I found it at, during my desperate search I didn’t find anything like I wanted for my new journal this year. So I got busy in PS and made one for my book pages, I sure wished I could share with you but I don’t have one for every week. I just typed in the week and printed on 8.5 x 14 paper, double sided. The important part is the fun embellishments that I made for the book. I love making books with scrap mat board, and binding them with the Cinch machine. I then printed out the cover with Jaimee’s designs on heavy card stock, and printed out some embellishments on glossy sticker paper to decorate it, leaving tabs f or quick stops and notes.
Pages to work on.

The fun embellishments I added on the book.
I wished I could say I used my Silhouette Cameo, but I don’t have the settings down for this kind of sticker paper and ended up hand cutting them out. No biggy because many people don’t have a cameo and would have to do that anyway.
I hope you find this project useful and fun for your own kind of journals. I have made many with just lines and decorated them with digital elements! It is fun, now I have to stick to the plan on USING it! Jaimee gives me NO excuse NOT to scrapbook! I am so excited to be on her team, looking forward to bringing you alot of inspiration!
OMG, I the game has been over for at least a half an hour to 45 minutes and my heart is STILL pounding! I am SOOOO Happy, I didn’t realize I was louder than the crowd, jumping around doing the happy dance. Singing, “We’re going to the Super Bowl, We’re going to the Super Bowl!” When I should have been singing, “We are going BACK to the Super Bowl!” Sorry if you are a Green Bay fan but it means alot to me after my 15-year-old son converted from a SF 49’rs fan for the last few years back to our own Washington state’s..
This is just a meaningless random bragging rights post, that has nothing to do with crafting, I am just a
Big Fan keeping warm in my arm socks!
Been making Seahawk colored scarfs this week too!
I made these and my son’s school’s colors for when he goes back to football this fall!
How exciting it is here in Washington State! For many, the stadium being so loud and proud! I wished I were there! Many women don’t get into football but some do, I have always loved the environment, started watching slowly when my son really got into it, than watched the first full Superbowl the first time the Seahawks went a few years ago. Than when my son started playing, I got into the love of the photographing his team during games while they are playing, it all went from there!
GO HAWKS, SUPER BOWL 49!
Soon enough I will be into baseball for the Mariners! Hoping my son makes the high school team this year in tryouts!
Hello everyone. I know post have been pretty sparse but I do have some catching up to do getting some mojo back. Hoping to come up with some YouTube tutorials for Photoshop if you like and more. I had just gained a position with Just Jamie in the LilyPad, an amazing digital designer that will be having me to hybrid projects once a month. I love, love, love her work. I am not to excited about what I did with this one.. but that is my fault throwing things together in a hurry. Bad habit of mine on my layouts. But hey it works, you know how they say, don’t over think it, so I can move on, right? So for those traditional scrappers this is a perfect easy layout for you or you can mix it hybrid. This isn’t my post for her Design Team, I only did this one on my own for fun. I have something else up my sleeve with the project of the month! This is from her Hunter story teller collection and it is amazing as if you click on the link you will see. So proud to work with such a top designer! Missing Juliana as well but I am sure that Jamie and I will get along just fine!
Testing out my new phone capabilities, OH MY… it’s alot to learn going from Apple to Android. I am constantly on it learning new settings. I don’t know why 3-5 different companies think they need to sync your photos to their servers including Google plus and more. UGGGh! If you have any tips on how to stop sync, because it will come back after you have stopped it, please post here to give any great tips you have. I got a Galaxy Note 4 because I am in love with the sPen. Disappointed in Apple not trying to compete with something like that as an artist. If they ever do, I may just hook back up with Apple. The size is nice but doesn’t fit my hands. I knew how to NOT sync anything with them so no worries there. I am sure you all don’t want to see my whole family life on Google plus! lol With that being said, I have cleaned it up!
Well this was just a random post for the week, hope to see you much more this week as I am on vacation and plan to get some stuff done. To much to toss or sell off!
Either that or get busy crafting again.
If you are not already connected, I will see you next post or on Facebook!
I have a photo booth app that we love to play with, today I wanted to be cheered on a grey day and take pictures of my sunshine. She always wants me to be her model so we made an agreement. Well those pics on her camera didn’t go so well, lol. I have many more of her that I will post soon because she did some super cute poses that reminds me of our favorite song, “All about the base” by Meghan Trainor. She is sooo adorable. This is probably a free download that I got somewhere in the years of scrappin’ I am sorry I don’t have the credits but I see Juno, “Let it go” It seemed perfect for this layout.
I love using multiple photos on a layout but maybe that is just my shooting style. I hope you have enjoyed my post.. I hope I have inspired you to use many on a layout, your kids need to have photos of you too for the future. It doesn’t seem important now but it really is. Until next time.
