Abby’s family project this month was a timeline I am so sad I didn’t get better pictures. I am sure dad will get some good shots of it tomorrow when he goes to “Donuts for Dad” day at her school. I didn’t even finish that last page before photographing it with my iPhone, it is a banner and I wanted to remember it before it got smashed, lol
If you have stumbled upon the hop and would like to start from the beginning we have the full line up below to help you navigate through.
So let’s get started… I really love banners on layouts and cards. I love to make short ones too for like a little girls room with her name on it. I think they are as cute as can be. Here I used DCWV Sunshine stack, and Sunny day’s Stack as well. They had banners in the stack that I cut out and just added random papers to fill. I used some twine for the banner, it is funny because I cut the banner from below out and then made another layout with the left overs from the first banner! I think these little tiny ones are as cute as can be!
I may have shown the Graduate pictures before I don’t recall doing a layout but if I do find one, this was preschool graduation, I can just fill in with Kinder graduation instead! I love the way these layouts turned out. I have a tutorial on how to photograph your layouts on my pages, but this time I did completely opposite! Since buying the scrap-n-easel, it made it so easy to have it at the right level and take a great photo while it is attached flat to the easel
Welcome to our hop brought to you by the Scrap to Treasure Team. Your host is Cicily at Pink Dalmation Scrapper, if you have stumbled upon the hop you can start there and not miss a thing! If you have come from Zannie Berry’s Blog you are in the right spot.
This is not a funny thing I had made a paper project with a left over matstack I had and wondered what the heck I am going to do with all those papers? Since it is a quilting theme, I found a pillow cut file that made a perfect match. I cut them all out, put the eyelets buttons and a pretty butterfly on it.. then tucked it away so it wouldn’t get ruined. Then forgot where I put it! So tonight I digitally remade the banner that I made for you to see today. I am so sorry but I am sure Sunday after the hop is over it will pop right up.
It is a long one, so I tried to crop in so you can see, of course the paper doesn’t have the beveled look. But everything else is the same. I hope I didn’t do anything more than take a picture like I would a layout and post it, so I took pictures of some of the other papers. There isn’t much of it left but I got by. I just loved the pillows and I thought the theme went perfect with the paper.
Sorry I didn’t add-on the eyelets but you see about what it will look like when I actually find it. I hope you have enjoyed this. If you COMMENT or subscribe with a confirmed subscription I will give you this svg file for some blog candy! There are actually more pillows in the file so you will have choices. It is time for me to go to bed now, I hope you have enjoyed this post. Your next stop will be with

For my project I just had to use the black and white twine from the
Here you can see how it blended in and made it more interesting like jewelry.
Thank you for checking out my project if you would like to COMMENT I would LOVE to hear what you have to say! If you would like to subscribe, I have 3 different options, by email, WordPress or network blogs.
A year and a half ago I started doing this hop once a month with a lovely lady by the name of Kathryn, she couldn’t continue coordinating them like she had been for the last year so she asked if anyone could take over. I didn’t really know anyone in the crafting community but her and I surely didn’t want to loose my once a month showcase on my blog. Everyone loves traffic, subscribers, and especially comments. Us bloggers LIVE for comments, lol…it felt really good to have someone come in without asking the cricut board to come see what’s on my blog. So there I was saying Pick me! Pick Me! (I dont’ think I had alot of competition, lol)
So I started to coordinate them in January, turning it into a member hosted team. I was talking to some of them one night and we came up with a name for our group. Most of us have been here all year-long, some are new and some have been here part of the year. Then one of the girls came up with …
So here we are a team of girls who love to inspire and LOVE to craft. If you click on the banner, our page is now open, it will take you to our bio page where you can meet each and every one of us. We loved it so much that we decided to start a sister group, Scrap to Treasure Team giving you even more inspiration having swaps challenges and more, the 3rd weekend of the month starting in August show casing them in our hops. Robin Scott is the owner and I am the co-courdinator, if you would like to become a member of either team you can inquire by contact myself through Kontactr or Robin at Scrap and Chat. Right now Krazy Crafting Crew is full but we are filling up quickly in the Scrap to Treasure Team. One major rule is you have to use SCRAPS ONLY. This was the purpose of creating the team. After this last recent Scrap to Treasure hop, we all looked at our scraps and had this after thought of how fun it would be to be able to use them all. That how it all began, and now that is going to be a challenge!
Ok, on to the FUN stuff! I am sooo excited to show you this project today because I had such a hard time with crafters block to think of a summer theme. Then just a couple days ago a light bulb went off and I was crafting away! I just love this! My husband’s family bought property up in the mountains for the family reunion gatherings, he then turned it into a very nice campground, every year we gather in August. I thought this would look great in the area where we all gather to eat. Nothing like a great outdoor family banner for decoration!
You can click on the induvidual images to see a mini slideshow and close ups.
I used DCWV Green Stack for this project but I also used the mat stack along with it for the circles and lettering. The combination turned out great, my favorite project so far! (of course I always say that!)
Now for the goodies! If you have been to my blog before you will know that I give out digital graphics for blog candy. Are you going to gather a hop of your own and need a button? Do you need a timeline banner to make your Facebook look good? Or even a digital layout of your favorite photographs to display in a frame? The sky is the limit but there is a time limit, lol… I can do just about anything and love doing it all. In order for you to win my blog candy you will need to be a subscriber through email, or network blogs, and leave a COMMENT of the page on both posts/days with your coordinating info, and letting me know what you liked about each post both days. The comment does not have to be made on the day of the post, just one both posts. You have a day or two because I don’t pick a winner until later in the week, I gather all the info and line them up then use random.org to pick a winner!
In addition to this we have a sponsor giving away 4 Summer themed Digi’s to one winner!
Anita and Bugs is also giving away a $20.00 gift card to Michael’s!
to enter to win you must comment on every blog on the hop, this will complete your entry to win 4 summer theme digi stamps and the gift certificate. For each blog in the hop that you become a follower, that is an extra entry, now wait …. you can even get one more entry by commenting at Scrapbook Stamp Society. Please keep your entry usernames and email addys coordinating with your entries so we know who you are and how to get ahold of you. The prize will be drawn next Wednesday July 11th.
I surely hope you enjoyed my project here, is the line up incase you would like to navigate or if you get lost.
Again, Making the banner with George and then used home decor’s bracket to give them a cap. Jasmine for the font. I love love love this paper stack that I found at JoAnn’s.
I really wanted to use one of every paper in the stack but I contained myself!
Then I couldn’t resist and made the vinyl sign. I had no idea that their walls were decorated the way they were so this is all the space I had left, the window.
Using the cart I thought I never would, Jubilee, and then the crown came from Rock Princess. The dots were supose to go on the crown but sister didn’t know and it still looked cute anyway.
All and all here is the whole party room..
She just adores any kind of dogs. We don’t have animals yets so she gets spoiled with lots of stuffed ones!
Well that concludes the party decorations. Hopefully soon I will be able to put up some .cut files for you. If you have the carts, and would like them before I get them posted just email me and let me know so it encourages me to get it out there sooner.
