Frames is the theme for the Krazy Crafting Crew’s Blog Hop!

Welcome to our “All about Frames” Blog Hop Brought to you by our Krazy Crafting Crew.

We are an independent hop team that enjoys sharing our work with everyone and hope to inspire you with new ideas for you own creativity. We are a team who loves to do all different themes, such as cards, layouts, 3D projects and so much more. We do all the paper crafting from traditional to digital. Mostly traditional, every now and then there may be a little mixed media too!

Now for a little fun! Here is my project I have made for today’s hop, it is a collage frame filled with scrapbook papers and elements.  One of my famous things I am known for, even though I have slowed down on them.

It has been awhile since I made this frame, to be exact last July.  Waiting for the perfect time to show it!  The downfall is I can’t remember the paper stack I bought to do it with!  I just bought a 6×6 stack and some elements, I probably used a couple outside elements like the girl and the Polaroid frame, but other than that everything came coordinating!  I LOVE my frame!

Here are a few close-ups for you!

The last hop of the year, “Gift Giving Ideas” from the Krazy Crafting Crew

Fair well to 2013 soon it will be 2014.  It is that time of year gifts are being purchased and made, and it is always wonderful to receive a handmade gift, there are so many great things to give.  Some can be expensive some may not.  We all are here to give you ideas for all occasions that you may be giving to another.

I am your host today, Lissa here at

So Many Crafts, So Litte Time.

I hope you enjoy our hop we will go out with a bang and bring you new things next year.

This is my gift giving idea, it’s called a floating frame.  I made this for my sister and her family.   I love this frame, because it is so her.

Sorry images are temerary unavailable

To make it, I just cut the vinyl out with University Roman font and Palace Script font on my Cameo.  It was quite a time working with the script being so fine but I think I spent more time in Photoshop due to my lazy photographing skills and didn’t iron the sheet I had it on.  It isn’t ready to hang, so I sat it on the couch with a light background.  I chose a silver for the “Pieces of my heart” to offset.  I think it turned out just beautiful.  It really is a simple easy project and someone will cherish it for a lifetime. You can make this type of frame for any occasion.  Very popular for weddings, you can do them for different holidays, use them for your business and more.

For today’s blog candy I am giving away a $10.00 Gift certificate to anywhere you choose that I can purchase online and send the gift card to you online.  Preferably you will choose Close to My Heart  for a Studio J  layout and then you can frame them for a gift to someone too!  But this is the time to give and I like to give what you like to receive so good luck to every new and old email follower (required to win the certificate) and commenter who comments on the hop, hoping you make an effort to comment on all the blogs on the hop.  Before you go, if you want to scroll down to my last post before this one, I have some gift giving ideas to give to other crafters or even ideas for yourself!  I can’t wait to add to the list!

Here is your line up for your convenience

Now for my inspirational project. I had posted some Halloween frames and got raves and reviews on those frames more than any other post. Well, of course it isn’t Halloween year around so I took them down and now working on converting to Valentine. The picture just does not do it justice without natural light, I did have to photograph the frame without the glass to prevent glare.

I used poster board for the background and then covered it with a KC&Company Valentine paper the I bought last year. I have just been in love with this paper since I saw it, and I thought this was the perfect way to display it, you will see more tomorrow. Using the sweetheart cartridge, I added two cupids at two different sizes. Flipped one and welded them together. I believe it was Home Accent for the font.

Now for the fabulous blog candy I am giving away today, I will have a drawing for all the followers who love to take the time out to tell me how awesome my project and my blog is (lol) YOU will be eligible to win some free Photoshop graphics. There is a choice for any size up to a 12×12 digi scrapbook layout put together by me. Sometimes I use digital paper packs, but most of the time I create my own work for all my digi layouts. This is for you to add to your album or to print and put in a frame on your wall. You can have as many pics as you want on the layout, I only suggest keeping it the same theme, but I do need the highest resolution of picture you have. You can have any theme you want, whatever you would like, I will create it for you since you LOVE my work, lol. I crack myself up!

Are you not interested in a layout? Maybe you are a blogger and would love to have a button on your side bar that say’s,

Or just a button for a blog hop you are hosting, it is up to you.

I am giving one free graphic for each day so be sure to come back on both days to come and see our fun inspirational projects and relax for a while.

At the top right of this page, there is a subscription box where you can fill in your email address and this will enter you to win.

I had network blogs but I am not blog savvy enough, and have no way of tracking who you are so I have to stick with the word press subscriptions

or email subscriptions for you to be entered in the give away. Good Luck!

Now your next stop will be with

Have a wonderful weekend and I hope to see you tomorrow!

I almost forgot, I was going to give away these iPhone / Touchscreen backgrounds. I wanted to share here too!

I would love to know if you took one or all. I use the first two, pucker up on my lock screen and the heart of hearts as a background image.

I hope this has inspired you as well. Now your next stop will be with Yolanda at Crafty Sentiments

Have a wonderful weekend.

Getting ready for an new look for the New Year!

Yes, I have been busy this holiday season, so busy less time to post the crafts. I have made so many of these for gifts and for my home. I just love them! Here is a home decor piece I just love, this has to be one of my favorite projects of the year.

On the Cricut message board there was a thread that seemed to favor the DCWV Black Currant stack so I thought I would check it out. Oh what a great stack this has been. I gave this one out as a gift while I made these for my self….

I am imbarrassed to say but i don’t remember the fonts and all. I believe I made them in DS mixed in with a little of the Wall Decor and Home Decor Cartridges.

Those are on the wall now. I had bought 4. We were having people over on Christmas eve and no pictures ready for the frames so I took out my DCWV Winter Wonder mat stack and decorated this… as soon as I get my snow friends cart, guess what will be going in there! Oh yes… I will show pics!

Have a wonderful day. If you like my work, please leave a comment so I know. I love comments it makes it all worth posting!
