Hello again, I am back for some more inspiration with Juliana Kneipp’s digital products.  I searched for some word art that she had done, I took these word art elements from a kit and traced them on my Silhouette designer edition software.  Cut them out with a kiss cut on vinyl and added them to some tile I bought at the hardware store for about .19 cents a piece.

I took a roll of cork board (you can get them at craft stores) cut them to the 4×4 size of the tile,  glued it under so it doesn’t hurt the furniture.

Perfect for my family!

I love the word art it always gives me new ideas!  You will see more on the blog next Friday with SnapDragon Snippets. Silhouette store design on my next two coasters!  I may mod podge them to see how well that works too.

Hope this has inspired you!

Are you ready for some baseball?

Hi this is Lissa here to give you some Snapdragon Snippet Creative Team Inspiration!  You can find their files in the Silhouette Store for even more inspiration! I have made something simple and cheap!  A dollar store cup, with the wrapped favorite sport around it.  Now this cut is bowed out so you will have to have an arch. I googled it and it said that Make the Cut has this wonderful feature to do just that!  This awesome feature is called Conical Warp in your shape magic.IMG_9217[1]

Turing it around..IMG_9218[1]
Here is the link to TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALL GAME if you want to try!  I love my cup.  My boy has been in school baseball and just joined the junior league so I am excited to take it everywhere with me!
I hope this post has inspired you!  Make a fun cup for any occasion!

Flashback, Making Bookmarkers for the 1st grade classroom

Welcome, I thought I would share my post on bookmarkers that I made for the first grade classroom for my daughter’s birthday celebration.

In the 1st grader’s survival guidelines, it says many times, NO SWEET TREATS, NO JUICE with food coloring, and did I mention NO SWEET TREATS, & NO JUICE with food coloring? lol.  So I got on Facebook and asked my crafty teaching friends what is the best thing for a 1st grader?  NON FOOD she says!  LoL

Well, I hem-hawed over this one thinking it would be so easy.  I didn’t want to make a ton of work for me or them,  having them piece together many things.  Nor have it take too much time to put them together.  I hope I didn’t go overboard making it to hard for them either.  I made the cut file for the round glasses and the worm, and bought a set of 3 different pairs of glasses, svg file from the silhouette store.   The project it’s self was easy cutting the vinyl, I left the transfer tape on for the kids to just peel it off and stick on the glasses or they don’t even need glasses.  Cutting out the worms were a breeze making enough for more than two per kid, sure hope that I didn’t give the teacher more work than I think, but then I had my daughter do it so she could teach her class and I think it will be ok 🙂

So here I made a little family to show samples of faces, they can draw outfits on them, like sports jerseys and feathers

I hope they had fun with them!  I think it will be a blast!  I wished I could laminate them to last longer!

I did a few more just before finishing this post, so fun to decorate…. Glad I didn’t get any more time left to mess with it or I would have had to decorate them all!

I hope you had a crafty creative weekend too!

The last hop of the year, “Gift Giving Ideas” from the Krazy Crafting Crew

Fair well to 2013 soon it will be 2014.  It is that time of year gifts are being purchased and made, and it is always wonderful to receive a handmade gift, there are so many great things to give.  Some can be expensive some may not.  We all are here to give you ideas for all occasions that you may be giving to another.

I am your host today, Lissa here at

So Many Crafts, So Litte Time.

I hope you enjoy our hop we will go out with a bang and bring you new things next year.

This is my gift giving idea, it’s called a floating frame.  I made this for my sister and her family.   I love this frame, because it is so her.

Sorry images are temerary unavailable

To make it, I just cut the vinyl out with University Roman font and Palace Script font on my Cameo.  It was quite a time working with the script being so fine but I think I spent more time in Photoshop due to my lazy photographing skills and didn’t iron the sheet I had it on.  It isn’t ready to hang, so I sat it on the couch with a light background.  I chose a silver for the “Pieces of my heart” to offset.  I think it turned out just beautiful.  It really is a simple easy project and someone will cherish it for a lifetime. You can make this type of frame for any occasion.  Very popular for weddings, you can do them for different holidays, use them for your business and more.

For today’s blog candy I am giving away a $10.00 Gift certificate to anywhere you choose that I can purchase online and send the gift card to you online.  Preferably you will choose Close to My Heart  for a Studio J  layout and then you can frame them for a gift to someone too!  But this is the time to give and I like to give what you like to receive so good luck to every new and old email follower (required to win the certificate) and commenter who comments on the hop, hoping you make an effort to comment on all the blogs on the hop.  Before you go, if you want to scroll down to my last post before this one, I have some gift giving ideas to give to other crafters or even ideas for yourself!  I can’t wait to add to the list!

Here is your line up for your convenience

Fun Fun Fun…

I was so excited about the vinyl hop I was already doing another vinyl project by the end of the night.  I was at the store and saw this cup that screamed at me, ViNYL ME, ViNYL me!  So I came home and was in Photoshop I knew it had to have hearts on it and something frilly.  So I threw something together and wala… but wait, if it is a cone shape it can’t be straight.  So I sent it to my friend Pam all the way across the country and said Pam I need help!  My design needs to be warped to fit my cup!  She (as always) was happy to help me out and then sent the image back and that evening I was a happy camper with my new custom designed cup.  She say’s, “I have that cup” So I told her to make one too so she can think of me every time she uses it, of course she called me a dork!  But hey… I am what I am!  lol

ValentineCup1   ValentineCup2

Showing the front rolling it around to the back.  I just love it.  The cup just seems to be kind of our thing.  Although she did encourage me to put it up on my Etsy store, so I have listed it there too for Valentines day!   Hope you love them enough to grab one up.  If you buy two you get 10% off!
