Shocking news! I rarely enter challenges but my friend Cicily sent this to me and said this sketch is sooo you! Meaning DCWV since I own just about every stack they have… well maybe not but I do own alot! I posted on Facebook and Sharing on Instagram to be sure I get my entry in! I hope you like it! Thank you Cicily for encouraging me to put in pictures, lol.. I wasn’t going to but she insisted! 😀
Here is the sketch…
This came easy for me, although there is more that I could have should have done.. you know how that goes but they say don’t over think it!
This was a blast because I am usually the photographer, not on the other side of the lens…
oh what I do with my time, lol..
I just love this stack, I have made a clipboard and notebook with this stack as well!
Well, it’s that time of the year for gift gifting… and for many families that begins with the Thanksgiving holiday if you’re trying to fit in all the families on both sides and extended ones.. so we’ve put together a great hop today with plenty of ideas to make those gift cards look like a million bucks! I personally love gift cards… no hassle in returns, wrong sizes, etc. and with the ability to buy cards for even Visa and/or MasterCard, how could your gift even be considered to be re-gifted!
They will surely find something they want or need..
For hopping today, we have a gift for some lucky person. A 17.95 value Close To My Heart Merry and Bright Holiday Stamp set. You’ll have a great little set to make your Holiday cards, gift tags, or other decor. A winner will be chosen by Nov. 6th so I can get this in the mail and off to the winner in plenty of time!.
How to win? Comment on each blog and show our creative team some love please! If you’re not a follower, you might want to be… this group does a hop every first Sunday so you won’t want to miss what’s in store! Be sure to leave a way to contact you as well!
Now let’s get hopping! If you havent already, starting at Janet’s Creative World is where it all begins and those awesome stamps are up for grabs!
For today’s hop, I planned on something spectacular but as usual I end up with something simple and quick but classy I like to think. I could have added a monogram or a scalloped circle with “A gift for you” but I am pretty simple and quick. I can choose this to be vertical or horizontal. Just slip off the ribbon and have a gift card waiting for any occasion. Just pick your papers to your liking.
Thank you for stopping by my blog! I have made many many many gift card holders, and would like to say they are in my project portfolio but I must have missed those when uploading, now my Scrap Diva Drive has crashed, sniff sniff… and will have to wait to see if she gets better after my husband tries to get what he can off of it. (A 1 terabyte external drive, hurts!)

As far as the menu: All I did was cut a strip of cream color cardstock, offsetting the card so the fold isn’t even. Then put panels around with a ribbon and some pretty little button embellishments. So easy to do! You can make this gift card holder vertical or horizontal, when you place the gift card in just use double-sided tape. A little red tape is perfect for this! Maybe a personal message printed on the inside doing a test run on a normal paper, line it up with and run it through the printer again. BEFORE adding the panels! Just a tip!
(Posted last night woke up this morning to give you even more inspiration!)
I made this cute little thing too and got to busy to post.. they are from the online Sillouettte Store, little money card wallets! How manly is that? I LOVE IT!
Now you’re off to my dear friend’s blog who nearly ALWAYS comes up with something AMAZING!
Welcome to the Scraps to Treasure’s Blog hop themed “Altered Items”
Your host today is Robin from Scrap and Chat, moving right along I am going to make this quick and simple, don’t laugh at me because I am just to silly.. I altered a envelope box so it looked pretty!
I found some glue stick at the dollar store and had to try it on something to see how I like it, so I used this paper that I never could imagine using on anything at all then just added ribbon. Cute!
Then, this crazy girl was at the dollar store and went nut looking for a good gel pen and had to buy a notebook to try them out! They are so convenient to have but they are not so pretty. So when I got home I “Altered” it to my liking.
I hope you have enjoyed my posts… until next time.

For my project today, I created this Baby’s 1st year flip album. I have given it away for a gift, now that the baby is born I sure hope they will be using it!
Too Cute! For the Too Cute little baby boy they had!
I took my awesome mat board that I use for EVERYTHING and most likely sized it to a 5.5×11.5 and scored it slightly in the middle for a perfect bend, to cover that up I just used pretty papers, then to keep it from sagging, I used buttons and ribbon to hold them together and the rings attached. I use those kind of buttons that have big inserts in the backside so I can pop it through the mat board and lead the ribbon through. I love the little eyelets too, it gave it an extra touch using my big bite. Just making 5×5 pages, an insert for each photo, not nailed down to perfection so she could get the photos in just right herself so some of the embellishments can overlay.
