Snapdragon Snippet in the Silhouette store – Labels

Hi this is Lissa to share a post with you about labels, these labels are named “for canning jar tops” in the store but you can use them for so much more.  These labels are from the Snapdragon Snippets Designs, Design ID #65834.  I was only able to show you one example on a card, you can use them on anything adding your own artwork fonts whatever you like.
Here are some of the other designs I used with the labels,  I drew some myself, (the pumpkin) I used some digital kits just a little of this and that, showing you how you can use them for labeling jars, having pretty things, cupcake toppers, even making sticker rewards for your kids.   I use the LD glossy photo sticker paper from Amazon and they print just beautiful.  They are suppose to be washable too!  I wished I could have used them in more samples but I ran out of time.   To much fun picking out the designs!  Here is a sheet I reprinted, can’t wait to use them I can even put them on scrapbook pages!

I hope you have enjoyed this post and the next time I see you it will be my last post!  The new team will be coming in and I will continue to enjoy the files I have used from this team!
Would love to hear your comments!

OMG, I don’t know how I am ever going to live the iNSD!

So many freebies and give-aways for digitals everywhere!

Digi Kit, Printables, Papers, Elements, Pocket Cards all on Facebook blog trains, Digital Scrappin’ Freebie Facebook group doesn’t help me stay away from it all, I am finding, games, speed scraps, you name it, it’s everywhere!  Where in the world have I been??

My favorites are the Sweet Shoppe Designs,  Lily Pad, Pixels and Company, The Digi Chick and so many more!

They have something for everyone, and Pinterest is always a killer for free fonts and Pocket Journaling cards any kind of printable you want for anyone who knows how to print an image even without an image editor!

I can say that the mourning over my last failed hard-drive is starting to soothe over!  Kids are gone and I have gone wild on the net!  Digital Pocket Page Protector, Printables, Full Kits, even a little scrappin’ in but I didn’t even use a kit!  Plus I taught myself  how to make digital pocket page protectors on my own so now I have every layout at my finger tips!

There has been some great kits out there, some I almost bought Just Jamie’s May Story Book Collection it’s such a killer deal!  But I held back and collected my favorite newly discovered sites that I downloaded from, subscribed and I can pace myself.  That’s tough to do when you know what great sales there are right now.  My favorite designer of all is having the biggest freebie I have seen on the net, (yes I am partial to her because I blog for her too… I feel like one amazingly lucky girl!)  So I have to share with you her amazing work and her give-away too.  Not just because I blog for her either!  LoL

This opportunity to see her work and fall in love.  If you like vintage, unique, fun, neat things this is the place to go!

DT Tuesday – Need inspiration for some mesh ribbon?

Well if you do, I have something for you!  My daughter’s teacher is moving away and I wanted to make her something.  So I thought it would be cute to make a bunch of tags that her students can either sign, draw on like color code pink for bedroom yellow for kitchen, or whatever she like and use them for moving tags.  Sounds a bit silly to be to put a tag on a box but I couldn’t resist since I know that the memorabilia will be there in the end for her students here at this school.

Once I made the tags I had to have something to put them in right?  I saw this valentine tool box in the sillouttee store, I just took off the hearts and made it a tool box.  Using a thick card stock from DCWV Type Art, I cut it out and put this beautiful mesh ribbon around it.  Then when I started to put the handle on it wouldn’t stay so I put some jute wine ribbon on the ends

then a little twine put on her labeled tag from Abigail.

She loved her teacher alot and has been a very good influence on her this past year.  I was happy to make her something besides another thank you card.  I thought the mesh ribbon really topped off this project.  It really perked up my spirits to show off this new project!  If you would like to see what Jessi  has for a selection you can visit her open facebook group at  “My life in Arts n Crafts” , go ahead and browse through the fun stuff she has to offer.  If you like something you see,  just comment on that photos and she will send you an invoice!

If you love my project and would like see some more let me come right to your inbox by putting our email address in the box on the top right or scroll all the way down on mobile, I do a few blog hops a month and I love doing tutorials if you look around the site you will see many in the pages section!

Next hop coming up is for Father’s day, so be sure to sign up!

Thank God for Fridays!

Because Thursday nights I get to craft!  Better yet, if I can make another 8 hours tomorrow, I will be on the weekend like nobody’s business!   So I just made a simple Thank You Card just for fun.  I absolutely LOVE this DCWV the Bella Armoire stack.  It’s a bit of a close up but I took the picture with my iPhone and had to crop in…

thankyoucard

I was going through my inspiration folder and thought I had made one like this before, they all look the same to me after awhile because I don’t venture out much from the sentiment and a ribbon but I liked it.  As as I was going through the stack they had a page of 6×6 squares, I cut them down to 3 x 5.25 (well the bottom pattern was a full sheet but that is the measurement for each pattern paper.)   I thought I had a light pink ribbon on hand but didn’t so I used the cream color ribbon.  Printed sentiment and wala done.   The base is 5 1/2 x 5 1/2.  The layer of ribbon going across is doubled so you can’t see through then a bow pop dotted on where every I liked.  I wish I knew who to give credit to but unfortunatly it was just a saved image for inspiration without a signature.

Wait!  There is more news!  I do not have the Scrapbook Stamp Society winner yet to announce but I do have my blog candy winner to announce.

Drum roll please….

That would be
