Scrap to Treasure Tic Tac Toe hop

Welcome to our hop brought to you by the Scrap to Treasure Team.  Your host is Cicily at Pink Dalmation Scrapper, if you have stumbled upon the hop you can start there and not miss a thing!  If you have come from Zannie Berry’s Blog you are in the right spot.

This is not a funny thing I had made a paper project with a left over matstack I had and wondered what the heck I am going to do with all those papers?  Since it is a quilting theme, I found a pillow cut file that made a perfect match.  I cut them all out, put the eyelets buttons and a pretty butterfly on it.. then tucked it away so it wouldn’t get ruined.  Then forgot where I put it!  So tonight I digitally remade the banner that I made for you to see today.  I am so sorry but I am sure Sunday after the hop is over it will pop right up.

It is a long one, so I tried to crop in so you can see, of course the paper doesn’t have the beveled look.  But everything else is the same.  I hope I didn’t do anything more than take a picture like I would a layout and post it, so I took pictures of some of the other papers.  There isn’t much of it left but I got by.  I just loved the pillows and I thought the theme went perfect with the paper.

Sorry I didn’t add-on the eyelets but you see about what it will look like when I actually find it.  I hope you have enjoyed this.  If you COMMENT or subscribe with a confirmed subscription I will give you this  svg file for some blog candy!  There are actually more pillows in the file so you will have choices. It is time for me to go to bed now, I hope you have enjoyed this post.  Your next stop will be with

Have a wonderful day!

Yes, I do… like making pretty invitations!

Well, a dear friend of mine asked me to do her grand daughter’s wedding cards.  It has been 10 years since I got married so I was at a loss on where to start with this so the google search began.  With the wedding only a month and a half away, I had to come up with something quick.  I am sorry for the one who originally made this card but I saw it at a few different sites, I think but I am not sure it came from someone who had a blog called “weddings with the cricut” was the original but her blog has moved and I cannot seem to find it.  Scratching my head on how she ever got those panels embossed made me think that there is no way I will be able to do it with my little Sizzix, but this is the one she loved so I accommodated!

So does this make you curious too?  Well first I had to make the CUT FILE, with George Basic Shapes.  Then to get that embossed look,  I had to make 5 inch circles, then I cut them in half on my cutter then emboss that way, ATG away for the out side panels.  Cutting each of the velum out to fit the square.  On the printed area I set up a file in Photoshop, which can be done in Word too, printed the message on to regular paper then cut the paper to size around the print.  Adding some ribbon and bling an wala!  They say they look professional!

Well I hope you have enjoyed this project.  I just won “Tie the Knot” on eBay so you may be soon seeing more, since I love to help with weddings!

I would love to hear your

“It’s all about Green” Blog Hop – Day 2

Hello, Welcome to our “It’s all about Green Hop”

  Hosted by Creations with Kathryn.

Today is the second day of projects, if you are new to this hop and not clear of what it is all about, it is any project that is related to green.  If you have just stumbled up on the hop you can start in the beginning, or if you are already on the hop I will have your next link provided for you at the end of this post and if you need to go back or jump ahead for any reason the line up is on my prior post down below.  Here is new the line up today..  Join the fun there will be tutorials, blog candy on random websites and lots of inspiration here !  I am very excited to be a part of this hop!

As for the project of today, I am not going to take credit for the master of this one.  I told my 11 year old boy I wanted to make book worms and he was soooo bored he couldn’t stand it and made some of his own.  I don’t have the heart to steal his school theme.  He made one for each of his teachers.  I fell in love with them!  I was going to dress mine up in bikinis and fancy dresses but my idea wasn’t as great as his because I loved the theme!

Here are his…He would be so proud to hear what you have to say about his work, he is a great artist just budding and I love to encourage his work.

I couldnt believe it when I asked him what his teachers thought of the book worms.  He said his band teacher asked him if it was a pipe!  He said nooo it is a FLUTE!

Well I had to get my two cents in too!

This project seemed to simple to post! But I love them and I loved the idea.  If you would like your young one to give them a try you can here is the

CUT FILE

That is for the worm only so it can be used by anyone who has that one cartridge.

Made with George Basic Shapes.

DAY ONE

The final touches of the party…

Again, Making the banner with George and then used home decor’s bracket to give them a cap.  Jasmine for the font.  I love love love this paper stack that I found at JoAnn’s.

I really wanted to use one of every paper in the stack but I contained myself!

Then I couldn’t resist and made the vinyl sign.  I had no idea that their walls were decorated the way they were so this is all the space I had left, the window.

Using the cart I thought I never would, Jubilee, and then the crown came from Rock Princess.  The dots were supose to go on the crown but sister didn’t know and it still looked cute anyway.

All and all here is the whole party room..

She just adores any kind of dogs. We don’t have animals yets so she gets spoiled with lots of stuffed ones!

Well that concludes the party decorations.  Hopefully soon I will be able to put up some .cut files for you.  If you have the carts, and would like them before I get them posted just email me and let me know so it encourages me to get it out there sooner.

Stuck on the treat bags!

I have just been obsessed with making these cute little treat bags!   Just love them.  I bought the wrapped candy to give out for a gift exchange or I would have put in RED JELLY BEANS!   Of course the little candy hearts go to my little sweethearts here at home 🙂

I have listed the carts in the post below that are in the Valentine Treat Bag  gypsy file.  Just click on the link and it is yours.  All I ask is to please do not claim it as your own. 🙂

Just a little somethin’

Tonight I came home all excited to make this treat bag.  Sooo cute. When ever I make a cut file I always use practice paper, can’t wait to do it with the pretty valentine papers.

I feel so guilty for crafting tonight I promised my 3 yr old I would make her something, she will get to take this to school with her and share her candy 🙂

Cut file made with my Gypsy with Tags, Bags, Boxes and more.  Modified the treat bag with a handle to a scallop.  If anyone is interested in the cut file I would be happy to put it up, I just don’t have time tonight.  Gotta get ready for work now in the morning 🙁

Have a wonderful day!
