I normally don’t like to use one photo for a layout, but sometimes there are special pictures for it, especially now that I don’t scrap every photo I take like I use to.
There were many photos taken that day but looking through my inspirational sketches and wanting to break open my new DCWV Stack 8, using Winter lace, and Cricut Craftroom basics for the font. It was quick and easy and fun to put some bling on, I had to do it! I am sure I will have to add another matching layout for more photos, but for now this is good for me!
I hope you are having a great weekend. I am happy to have an extra day off on Monday, hopefully I will get something done.
In my world that is usually a little bit of everything and it always feels like alot of nothing!
Thanks for stopping by! I will have more soon that I have been working on, while still in the layout mood lately, so stay tuned!
Yes we are now on the second day of the hop, for your inspiration. Hosted by Creations with Kathryn. I will make this simple and sweet as usual and let you get on with the hop.
I do hope you are having a great time, seeing both days and all the great projects!
Here is a layout I did for you with the Recollections paper pack from last year’s collection. I just love this paper it is so beautiful, and it went great with my little pumpkin’s pics. Using Happy Haunting cricut cartridge all over again for the cuts, made a perfect layout!
I hope you are having a fabulous weekend and ready to roll with some new ideas!! After all this is the best time of year to craft!
What an awesome hop this is, I hope you came back from yesterday to see some more. Starting at Creations with Kathryn, moving right along to Cricut Confessions then on to me here at So Many Crafts, So little Time. To continue my little story from yesterday, I was camping and made some awesome layouts, this was the last and I went all out. (at least all out for me). I was really on the fence if I wanted to post this project for the hop since it is Halloween and next month is a Halloween themed hop, I should have posted those darn fair pics but I couldn’t resist because this layout is done and I got busy today, Grandma took us to see “Shrek the Musical” at the theater then came to our house to help get ready for next Saturday’s yard sale. Well, it is late and I have PLENTY of Halloween/Pumpkin patch photos to scrap so here it is.. I LOVE THIS LAYOUT! Using the Gypsy font I believe and various other images to do the pumpkin and leaves, I threw this together with DCWV Harvest Gathering Stack . Hopefully this will help you plan your photos before you make that trip to the patch and have in mind what you will scrap. I love it and think it is the best time of year to paper craft!
I love to hear your comments, Don’t forget to check out the link. “how to take photos of your layouts” page under the “Photography tips for beginners” page. I would be honored if you became a follower to keep up with the latest posts and pages I have been making with the Photography section and more.
If you were here yesterday and couldn’t get through to Yolanda’s site because my link took you to Facebook, I am soo sorry. I don’t know why but I hope you are able to give her some extra love for her awesome project she had posted. She is next stop today as well Crafty Sentiments.
I have been working on my new page this morning on my “Photography Tips for Beginners” that I decided to start. Before I get up and go for the day I thought I would post this layout for ya, still working on my boy’s album.. one page at a time!
Welcome to another one of Kathryn’s fabulous blog hops! This month the them is all about flowers and who doesn’t like flowers? I prefer electronics myself but flowers are still beautiful to look at!
This is day ONE of a two day hop, if you think this one is rockin’ come back tomorrow and there will be more with all new projects!
If you haven’t already, go get your morning drink and kick back and relax. Lots of fun here, I am excited to see all the projects myself!
I am so excited to be back on the blog train! LOL Thank you again Kathryn for having me in this hop. I made my project out sooo early I actually got to do another before the end of the weekend!
Here is a paper that came from a DCWV Spring Flower Stack premade page, then I added the plad from that stack and of course the frames. The butterfly I believe came from the gypsy font, and the word flowers font is “2 peas gg mix” pre printed on the page.
The buzz line for the butterfly came from the Sew Easy technique and I did color in the butterfly with water-color pencils. Ooooh yes, and the Cinch Binding machine did the awesome note pad holes! The word spring I believe came from the font printing press, that was a tough one, I hate trying to do fonts with the cricut, it seems like alot of work with less than satisfactory results. Other than that, it was pretty simple but right now that is the way it needs to be for me.
I hope you have enjoyed this project, just remember with those premade pages you can do alot, sometimes it is hard for me to imagine but when putting my mind to it, they can be very cool!
