So there I was Friday night, trying real hard to get some mojo for ideas. After a night trying real hard and nothing was coming to me. Then before bed I was talking to a friend, and said, “I have nothing to craft for”. I know I do, but it’s one of those things you have to be in the mood to do or it isn’t inspiring, it just feels like work. She says, make me a birthday card. I said, “WoW, it’s already your birthday again, remembering making her last year’s card.” So today I get on Pinterest and this simple card just blared out at me. I was suddenly inspired to do it and do it right away…
Her favorite color is pink pink pink, I am sure I don’t have enough Pink in it for her!
I love doodling so much I bought the book
It is fun and inspiring for new ideas to doodle. Looking forward to doing many doodle projects, as it gives you excersizes to do and tells you how to get crazy new doodle ideas. As I sat the book down on a counter, I looked up in front of me and all these expensive pens were on clearance for $3.95! What a great deal! So my day was complete knowing I have something to craft for today. Jessi’s birthday. Here is your card, if you have ever gone to college you will know why it say’s, “Hang in there” instead of “Happy Birthday”, some days she needs a little inspiration too and that is what friends are for. Hang in there Jessi because it won’t stay like this forever! Happy early Birthday girl!
That’s all I have for today. Next weekend the Scrap to Treasure team is having an “Anything goes” hop making projects our scraps. If you don’t want to have to remember, you can subscribe by email and I will come right to your inbox! Until next time.. Happy Scrappin’!
Well spring is upon us and as I have said recently that I am itching for the bright colors of spring about this time of year. I love the bright pastel mixes with the bolder colors, and here I have created it with Jessi’s twine and ribbon from her Etsy shop at
It is just the basic card but with the striped ribbon of yellow going with the polkadot background. I drew a little flower in Photoshop and circled it with a PS brush, printed and was going to cut with a cameo, but decided to fiskar punch it. Very simple and easy, 5. x 4.5 card. If you like that jute and ribbon head on over to Jessi’s blog for more inspiration and check out her project, they are usually very amazing and well worth the trip. Plus she gives a coupon code every Tuesday for those who would like to purchase some! We don’t know how long that coupon code will last so grab it up now while you can!
I surely hope you have enjoyed this post and gave you inspiration for a quick and easy card on the fly, but yet very pretty. I would love for you to subscribe to my blog if you would like future updates, just add your email in the box at the top right of the side bar and I can come right to you! Dont’ worry, I don’t post a bunch so I wont’ spam you a way!
Have a wonderful week! I am hoping to be crafty this week being on vacation and all but those kids and family keep me going with baseball games, yard work, and more…! I am good with that though cause I Love my family more then my craftiness, so that is ALOT!

Fancy Fold Cards is the theme today, how fun and different then the ordinary card, this is the fancy fold I chose to make to inspire you!
I believe this is called the side step card when I googled it, I googled step-cards with photos. I made this card for my husband on his birthday, I was so excited about it I had to make one for myself out of the scraps! We just got two new puppies and after fighting getting a dog for years, I caved and ended up with two bundles of joy! They have been so fun to have around, I just hope I don’t regret it when they get full-grown! It can’t be to bad they won’t get very big, I hope, lolThe mom dog wasn’t to big anyway.
I hope you have enjoyed my project today, enough to leave a little love through commenting. Our host is having a giveaway and a variety of blogs may be offering some blog candy as well, they all have their own wishes for you to win on their own blog, so don’t forget to read the rules for each crafter has different requirements if they are offering any extra’s.
Are you a dog person? If you have dog, do you have any puppy training tips? I am the kind of gal that the dog has to be the right one for me. If I don’t love it, I won’t keep it. This isn’t the golden labrador retriever I dreamed of, but my Daisy suits me fine. Dad wanted the black male, I wanted a blond female and this is what we got. Daisy and Bugs.
Here is a little gift for you for stopping by a 12×12 digital PNG printable format paper with some word art.
