Welcome to our first Scrap to Treasure Blog Hop – Team B

Welcome to the Scraps To Treasures August hop Day 2..This weekend we have several amazing crafters lined up to show you their interpretation of this sketch.

Today is the second day of our hop with all new crafters and interpretations.  If you are where you should be, or If you found your way here on your own, the hop started yesterday with another set of crafters and another set of takes on this sketch.  Your main host is Robin at Scrap and Chat, be sure to check out her blog for directions on how to enter to win and maybe you can still get a sneak peek of yesterday’s projects on some of the blogs from yesterday’s hop too!

Now on to my project!

LOL I crack myself up!  I didn’t have the perfect picture for this yet so I posted this from Jessi’s IM when she told me about what was going on at her Wal-Mart!

Aside from trying to be funny, I used DCWV Rustic Stack, one of my ALL TIME favorites!  Then mixed in a little Heirloom stack with it for the titles.

Thank you so much for hopping along with us Your next stop is with

School is COOOL! Blog HOp!

Yes, it’s almost time to start buying the supplies again and the clothes, for some sports outfits and ASB’s.   Welcome to the…

If you have stumbled upon this hop and would like to start from the beginning, it starts in Lorby’s World, just above me.  Come and join all the fun and projects to get inspiration for the kids in your lives.  If you just came from there, well you are starting on a roll… and on your way to fun and you may run into the chance to win blog candy throughout the hop.

As for my project today, it doesn’t really go with why school is cool but I have a new Kinder this year and very excited to fill this layout with pics.  I am hoping to get that morning off to take her to school the first day.   It is going to be a big day for her after all she has gone through, so I am trying to prepare her now on what is going to happen.  I hope she loves it.  She is growing so fast it is killing me to see her be in school!    So here is it…

Again, using DCWV Nana’s Kid’s Stack, you would have thought I would have made the design team after having and using almost every stack they put out!  Then I added the lettering “1st day of Kindergarden” in CCR using the zig 2way glue pen to keep it on. It turned out more then when you have your mind set to something, I guess it is doable.  It will be fun picking out the perfect picture for it.

I would also like to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESSI from My life in Arts n’ Crafts,

she is in the hop and after you get get done hoppin’ along here, she is having another birthday hop too!

Welcome to the Watermelons and Picnics Hop

Welcome to Lorby’s World of Hops, Watermelons and Picnics, how much more summer can you get then that?  If you have come from Jessie’s blog at My Life in Arts n’ Crafts, you are in the right place.  Or you can start in Lorby’s World she inviting you stop by and enjoy all projects we have today.

If you saw my post earlier this week I spent a night and took 6-8 coordinating papers and just started scrapping away.  I love to do this to see how much I can make with what I have.  Making layouts, cards, bookmarks, anything with those papers only, not mixing in any other papers with what I am doing.  Twine or buttons, ribbon or any embellishment is ok, but my favorite layouts are quick and easy ones so I can feel like I got something done.

So this was a part of my scrapmaina night… adding to the card and layout collection yet to be posted.

I am in the process of printing little photos for the less patterned paper then one big one for the middle  well 3×3 would be big for this layout.  Tasty treats.  Fun in the sun it’s summer time here!

Jearise in Lorby’s World will be giving out a special prize to one special winner just for leaving a comment and becoming a follower.  If you would like to leave a COMMENT I would love to hear what you have to say.  If you like what you see and want to see more you can subscribe by email or network blogs at the top right of the post.  I hope you have had a wonderful experience and inspiration now to your last stop in the hop is

Yes I am hoppin’ along again….

 With Jearise at

Sew – A needle pulling thread; unless of course you’re a crafter. That’s when sewing becomes more than a needle pulling thread. It becomes whatever your mind can conceive and to show this, I have a great bunch of ladies with projects that show their INDIVIDUAL take on what “Anything Stitched” means.

If you came from L. Miriam –http://miriamscreations.blogspot.com you are in the right spot.  I  hope you will hop along with us today to see what these carfters have stitched up to show off. Your hostess, Jearise in Lorby’s World is the beginning so please start there. She has a wonderful little gift for one lucky winner and all you have to do is hop through and leave a note on her blog and become a follower if you’re not one already.

I have just made a very simple layout with my usual DCWV stack,  this one is the homespun mat stack and the awesome 12×12 textured stack for the background.   it has been while since I took out my sewing machine and just went for it on my pretty paper without practicing first, I don’t think I will do that again but it still turned out ok.  Lots of journaling room and cute little fiskar butterfly punches.  Using Twine from My life in arts n’ crafts to tie the final touch of a button.  I know I am out of season but if others can do Christmas in July I can do Easter in July!  lol..  seriously going through the pics, even though my son isn’t looking up, I wanted him in the layout.  Oh so long ago, time flies.

Even though the layout is simple,  it is ok with me.  I am a simple girl but I can say this isn’t my best.

Thank you SEW much for hopping by today. I do not have any candy today but I surely would enjoy your subscripton or a simple comment to let me know what you like or dislike about my layout..  If you don’t see the reply button on the bottom of the post it will be at the top, depending what browser you are using.  If you would like to subscribe by email or network blogs it is at the top right of the post.  I blog for the love of showing off the fun stuff!

Your next stop is with the lovely Ashley the BloghopPrincess

I hope your having a great day, until next weekend at the grand opening of Jessi’s Twine shop blog hop, Happy Crafting!

I know it is spring but this snow layout inspired me..

So I thought I would share with you what I did.

I normally don’t like to use one photo for a layout, but sometimes there are special pictures for it, especially now that I don’t scrap every photo I take like I use to.

There were many photos taken that day but looking through my inspirational sketches and wanting to break open my new DCWV Stack 8, using Winter lace, and Cricut Craftroom basics for the font. It was quick and easy and fun to put some bling on, I had to do it! I am sure I will have to add another matching layout for more photos, but for now this is good for me!

I hope you are having a great weekend.  I am happy to have an extra day off on Monday, hopefully I will get something done.

In my world that is usually a little bit of everything and it always feels like alot of nothing!

Thanks for stopping by!  I will have more soon that I have been working on, while still in the layout mood lately, so stay tuned!

See you in the next post!
