Welcome to a new contest!
This month it is a joint contest with SnapDragon Snippets and SVG Attic, so that means you have even more files svg/sillouette files to choose from and create with to enter! We hope you will join with us and participate in this month’s “Anything Goes” contest. Here is my project to inspire to create with these files. Please stop by SnapDragon Snippits and SVG Attic blogs to see the rest of the files made and let them know how much you love their projects!

At first I started out taking pics with little crayon box, thought it was cute, but it didn’t give the whole look I wanted ..

So then I used a pot

and added another pinwheel!

So there is my bit of inspiration for the contest.  This file is actually a patriotic pinwheel but I love summer colors and will keep them out for the entire summer so I didn’t go with the patriot theme.  You have GOT to see that file though!  It Rocks for a Pinwheel!

Are you ready for some baseball?

Hi this is Lissa here to give you some Snapdragon Snippet Creative Team Inspiration!  You can find their files in the Silhouette Store for even more inspiration! I have made something simple and cheap!  A dollar store cup, with the wrapped favorite sport around it.  Now this cut is bowed out so you will have to have an arch. I googled it and it said that Make the Cut has this wonderful feature to do just that!  This awesome feature is called Conical Warp in your shape magic.IMG_9217[1]

Turing it around..IMG_9218[1]
Here is the link to TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALL GAME if you want to try!  I love my cup.  My boy has been in school baseball and just joined the junior league so I am excited to take it everywhere with me!
I hope this post has inspired you!  Make a fun cup for any occasion!

Here is a close up of some of the files.  I left out the spout and handle believe it or not on the teapot but I decided that I really like it like this.  Maybe it can be a cookie jar 🙂  There is a handle on the cup but didn’t pay attention to detail,  I was in a hurry and did exactly what I advise people not to do in tutorials!

I fell in love with these bird houses as soon as I saw them, they were so tweet!  I really enjoyed putting them together.  Knowing I had to use some old stash, I used DCWV Garden Party stack and it turned out very nice, new or old it sure worked here!  There are 3 houses in a set so keep your eye out for some more!
